Wondering what types of people have come to me for coaching? Here are the profiles of a few of my past clients. I've anonymized their identities because client information is always confidential.

Mary is the adult daughter of a man who owned a very successful online chat site. When he died, he left the business to her. Unfortunately, although bright, Mary was a complete novice to the world of Internet ebusiness, having spent her business life working as a secretary for various local companies. It was vital, however, that she learn as much as she could, as quickly as possible, to avoid destroying her father's $6,000/month business.

We discussed the possibility of having her outsource the work to someone, or even selling the business, but Mary saw this as an opportunity to break away from her stagnant office cubicle, so she asked me to help her learn what she needed to know to run the business herself. I was happy to help Mary learn what was needed, and within a year, Mary's business had to grown to a $20,000/month enterprise.

David is a well-known home-based entrepreneur in his online niche industry, and is very knowledgeable about ebusiness. What he lacks, however, is the ability to effectively manage his time and stay focused. He also needs to be able to bounce ideas off of someone he could trust that understands his online business terminology. Within a few months, David was able to determine that his time was better spent in a direction he'd not been focusing enough time on, and he ended up with a lucrative deal with a large company.

Bill and Harold are a couple of smart businessmen who wanted to transfer their brick-and-mortar smarts into an online business. David recommended they contact me, and it was a pleasure to help these two build a new business from the ground up. My favorite call was the day that Bill told me he'd just received his first $5,000 payment from a client, who was scheduled to make several more payments within the next few months. These two are on their own now, and have the confidence to grow their business, even in tough economic times.

Evelyn owns a site that does well for its niche, in which she sells goods that are drop-shipped by the manufacturers of those goods. She knew, however, that she was very likely missing out on some opportunities because whe lacked some of the technical knowledge she needed to make her site receive more traffic and earn more conversions. In the midst of our time together, she ended up having some technical issues with her site due to some buggy software she'd used. Rather than panicking, she looked to me to keep her attention focused on solving the problem, and after a few conversations with the original programmers, she was able to not only get the bug fixed, but also implement some key changes that would enhance the site in the future. The changes she made not only gave her site's visitors a better experience, she increased her conversions as well by 2%. That 2% conversion increase adds approximately $3000/month to her bank account, which was a significant "raise" in her "salary" as an ebusiness owner.

William had an idea for a cool new website, and he needed simple guidance to turn that into a reality. He didn't have a lot of money to spend, and he could only work on it part time, so he wanted to get as much guidance as possible in just one month. He bounced his ideas off of me, worked out his plan, and after one month, we parted ways. I checked in on him a few months later to see how he was doing. He was excited to share that his site is doing well, although he still has a few hurdles to jump before he can turn it into his full-time business. Still, his site is currently making enough each month to cover his car payment, so he's happy for now.

The men and women I coach come from all walks of life and have lots of different backgrounds, plans, and ambitions. Some are simply looking for a way to earn extra money on the side. Some are wanting to walk away from their office cubicle one day, and run their own business from home. Others already have a successful online business, but need help with business growth or time management. The one thing they all seem to have in common is that they need someone they can turn to for support; someone who will be in their corner as they make decisions. I believe that's what ebusiness coaching is all about.
